Mother, Facilitator, Yoga Teacher,
creative artist, occasional herbologist, and lover of poetry,
Living in the Cotswolds.
For the past 30 years, I have been consciously journeying in the tradition of Celtic Wisdom honouring fully the feminine and ancestors through earth-based spirituality. I have been lucky to work alongside some truly inspiring and gifted individuals, along with inspiration from the work of Joanna Macy and my grandmother who was a wise healer and teacher. My love of nature and the earth and has been with me from birth. Always having a deep connection to and empathy for all living vibrational beings. My practice values have their roots Druidry, nature-based spirituality and neuroscience, with strength in kindness, gratitude and a down to earth sensibility.
I feel that body and mind are deeply interwoven together. One without the other creates a dis-connection to our very essence of being. From my own lived experience I value the holistic approach to the body and mind.
Experiencing working holistically with people, encouraging a sense of personal choice, is something I’m passionate about. I hope to offer a creative, safe space, that is intuitive and nurturing, enabling personal growth, awakening and empowerment; visualising the bigger picture and restoring a sense of well being.
I had a mentor from 1988. I trained in 1997 as a spiritual healer then 3 years with CHSVA crystal healing and past life regression, later on training as a reiki master practitioner. I have also attended trainings in herbalism, nutrition, massage, coaching, interpersonal skills, counselling, Movement, Trauma sensitive Yoga, mindfulness and a foundation in Art Therapy. I am a member of the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids and hope to continue participating with Women In Power and Tree Sisters where time permits.
Alongside this, to enable my life and home, I was dedicated for many years in retail management & business, coaching, development, writing training programs and organising events.
I have practiced yoga movement and meditation for more than 25 years and am a fully qualified International Yoga Alliance teacher. I’ve been lucky to also train with Nurlipta Tuli, The Yoga Clinic, and Cindy lee. I am currently in training with TCTSY UK, trauma yoga, (Trauma Centre Massachusetts at JRI).
To bring deeper knowledge to my personal practice and within my work, I have followed a course a Lucy Crisfield a truly unique, gifted and inspirational teacher of Sanskrit and yoga, expanding my awareness further, of breath and vibration through sound, including its physical and emotional healing within the self and the greater being, Earth. I have found that Sanskrit is a text that communicates with its whole being.
Over the last 10 years , I have co-ordinated, facilitated and space at camps and festivals in the UK and Europe. This has been full of rich and fulfilling experiences. As every summer unfolds it brings a new venture along with personal growth.
As a creative artist, working with the body and within nature, I have spent time experiencing the complete immersion of self and spirit in nature, welcoming the flow of passion and grief in its dance of simplicity. Connecting to a deep honouring of these lands sacred spaces, reflected in my work ethos of kindness, gratitude and heart connectivity.
I Work intuitively with the magic of metamorphosis flowing the creative soul-source my own unique flow, in whatever medium that may manifest.
As a self taught artist I enjoy working with inspiration from folk art and earth given gifts such as willow, wood and feathers.
