Yoga, Field Yoga and Immersion Into The Seasons An Animistic Approach
I started dancing at the age of 4 and later taught ballet and movement for a few years. As I moved into my early 20’s I started to look for a more self-nurturing philosophical moving practice and discovered yoga.
Through my own lived experience I have found moving in the body incredibly empowering and healing. A good companion, journeying me through some very challenging times in my life and enhancing some very star-bright, beautiful moments.
Movement for me is a very liberating way of sustaining, connecting, letting go of and nurturing the whole self at a very deep level. Giving permission to connect to my own soul-source in nature and work within the yogic practices has been a solid foundation. Bringing a sense of calm, self-compassion and whole love into being. I truly recommend trying to work holistically with the body, creating connections with the inner and outer realms: Each of us working within our own capabilities.
All my practices are heart centred, connecting the self and bringing awareness to the ever-turning points of the year and phases of the moon in relation to ourselves. Moving focus as natures wisdom moves through the season of change. Through the practice of yoga and allowing space where we listen deeply to our bodies, giving reflection and regeneration, many of us will reveal the answer to healing ourselves.
Yoga can gently carve out a pathway to fulfill our most precious potential. Mixing this with a true immersion with nature, we can let go slowly of negative patterns and habits.
